FAQ

What are Werewolf species?

In Midnight Wolves, there are three main types of werewolf.

  1. The Feral (starter): The feral is the most basic of the werewolves. The feral can only change into their full werewolf form under the three days of the full moon, and only being able to shift into ordinary wolves for the remainder of the time. Ferals are not immortal, and have an average lifespan of 10,000 years. They can be killed in the usual ways, like every other creature out there. They do have much more stamina though, and can last longer with wounds that could possibly be fatal to other creatures.
  2. The Foreve(limited)r: The forever may seem the same as any other Feral at first glance, but during the full moon these werewolves are more agressive, due to the fact that they need to devour human flesh to keep up their immortality, thus they are forevers. The only thing that can kill a Forever is being decapitated by a blade of pure silver. And this can be hard, a Forever is stronger than a feral, while weaker than an Ancient. A Forever is created when a Feral or an Ancient devours human flesh while rampaging, which is when the werewolf mind instincts are in overdrive, taking most of control, giving the human mind little control, and little memory afterwoods.
  3. The Ancients(limited): the ancients are the first werewolves, and an Ancient is obvious straight away. An Ancients only body is that of the werewolf, no matter the time or day. Ancients Live immortal lives, and are strong, stronger than the others. The only way a Ancient can take on a human appearance is if a relative is somehow a Feral or a Forever and are allowed to have a taste of their human bodied relative. The human DNA is then taken as their own, and are thus given a human body. Most Ancients are unable to do this, as even if they had relatives with human bodies, most Ancients would be killed by the body attempting to shift. As with Forevers, only being decapitated with a pure silver blade will kill them.

There are some other werewolves, but they are simply mixed creatures.

  1. The Lupin: The Lupin is a very rare kind of creature, created when a werewolf, while in their werewolf form, of course, mates with your everyday wolf. The mother will only have one child. THis child will be built bigger than wolves, smaller than werewolves. They are unable to shift, but are considered less than Ancients. Can be killed as a ordinary wolf.

What are limited and starter characters?

Limited and starter characters are simple. You must start as a Starter werewolf, simple as that. If you ask permission and receive a go ahead you may become a limited. Forevers will be kept in ratio to ferals, 1 Forever to every 5 ferals, unless you have taken on a character from the story. Ancients will be 1 for every ten werewolf, and unless you are a character from the story, you still have to ask permission. If you are allowed to change then you can kill off your old character and create a new one, or you may stick with your current character, which may seem very confusing if you go Ancient, as you will not be able to shift, so it is better to kill off the character.

How do we know it is really you posting?

There is a simple solution to that. While we may not be able to create passwords and accounts here, I am glad to inform you that I will create a version of this site on Forumotion, and That is where the major roleplays will be held. There is no way I would be able to hold a proper RP here, despite the fact that it is a very good site. So i will create an area for silliness here, and a forum for true usage. All you have to do is tell me your Information in a private message and I will be able to link up the account and the profile on here.
